The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
